Aluminium 5086 Sheet is a high strength structural alloy. These 5086 Aluminium Sheets are sensitive to high temperatures ranging between 200 and 250°C (392 and 482°F) and tend to lose their strength. ASTM B209 5086 Aluminium Sheet is good low-temperature alloys and gain strength when exposed to subzero temperatures. Aluminium 5086 Alloy is an alloy that consists of magnesium as a primary alloying element. This alloy can get stronger by strain hardening and cold mechanical working and it is cannot be strengthened by the heat treatment process. This alloy offers excellent welding and fabrications ability and can retain its strength. Aluminium 5086 alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and other harmful chemical environments.
