Aluminium 1200 Channels are manufactured from Aluminium Alloy 1200, a commercially pure aluminum alloy containing a minimum of 99.0% aluminum. This alloy is well known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and good ductility. Owing to its excellent formability, Aluminium 1200 is ideal for applications that require bending, shaping, and forming without cracking or loss of structural integrity. These channels are particularly suitable for environments where lightweight construction, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability are essential. Aluminium 1200 channels offer very good workability and can be easily cut, drilled, machined, welded, and formed to meet a wide range of fabrication requirements. While the mechanical strength of Alloy 1200 is lower than that of heat-treatable structural alloys, its strong resistance to atmospheric and chemical corrosion makes it highly suitable for industrial and general-purpose applications. These channels are commonly supplied in O, H14, and H24 tempers, ensuring consistent dimensional accuracy, smooth surface finish, and dependable performance in precision-fabricated components. Applications of Aluminium 1200 channels include architectural and decorative structures, chemical and food processing equipment, electrical and electronic components, heat-exchange systems, roofing and cladding, transportation parts, and lightweight industrial frameworks. Its good corrosion resistance, excellent conductivity, and ease of fabrication make it suitable for applications requiring long service life under non-structural or moderate-load conditions. We supply Aluminium 1200 channels in custom sizes, lengths, thicknesses, tempers, and surface finishes as per client specifications, ensuring precise dimensional tolerances, consistent quality, and full compliance with international standards for industrial, architectural, and commercial channel applications.
